Jacob Levenson
The former whale program officer at the International Fund for Animal Welfare, Levenson has extensive science, regulatory, education and conservation experience. Levenson previously worked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), where he worked for the protection of marine mammals, and audited and ensured high quality fisheries dependent data for the largest fisheries in the United States. Levenson is frequently quoted in national and international media, and has been a speaker or panelist at leading marine conservation and biology conferences. Levenson has masters degrees in criminal justice and marine science.
Imogen Scott
Scott is a marketing communications professional with over 16 years of experience working in Europe, Australia, and the United States. With a passion and flair for environment and conservation communications, Scott has designed and delivered strategies that have raised awareness of issues, influenced environmental policy and effected behavioral change. Prior to moving to California, Scott was the Asia Pacific Regional Communications Manager for the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). At IFAW, Scott campaigned for the Australian government to take international legal action against the government of Japan, which lresulted in stopping the Southern Ocean whaling program. In her spare time, she competes in ultra-marathons in the hills around the San Francisco Bay Area.
